Five-year plans are meant to be altered

Second in the series about the Ford family, it focuses on younger brother, Owen, whom everyone still thinks of as the playboy, never-serious-about-work-or-life, son. He's been managing one of the wine bars, but wants to do more. His older brother, Donovan, doesn't trust him enough to give Owen more responsibility. It devolves to Mal, their sister, to force Owen to step up and take Donovan's place in meeting with the wedding planner in charge of all details relating to the upcoming nuptials between Donovan and Julia.
Owen agrees, reluctantly, until he sees the wedding planner, Grace Monroe. But she doesn't date family members of her clients. In fact, her five-year-plan needs to be completed before she'll consider getting married and having a family. Still in year four, Owen represents an interruption that becomes one of those "oh, why not?" detours that both she and Owen know won't last. After all, he's never shown the slightest interest in settling down and Grace has no intention of settling for anyone who doesn't have the same life plan as she. Furthermore, Owen doesn't meet any of the criteria she has on her list of "the perfect guy."
So, what happens between that first meeting and the wedding in question? Grace falls in love in spite of herself, but Owen can't bring himself to stop flinching when she explains why they are done. Now what's he to do? Or she, for that matter, when each of them are now miserable?
